Code of Conduct for General Health Services

The Friendly Naturopath complies with The National Code of Conduct for Healthcare Workers and Schedule 2 of the Health Complaints Act 2016.

The National Code of Conduct for Healthcare Workers, agreed to by the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) Health Council in 2015, sets out recommendations for minimum standards of conduct and ethical practice for unregistered health care workers (i.e. practitioners not regulated by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency [AHPRA]).

The Code obligations are set out in Schedule 2 of the Health Complaints Act 2016, which represents the minimum legal standards that all general health service providers (i.e. practitioners not regulated by AHPRA) in Victoria must comply with.
